As I begin to write this blog message for October, I reflected on what a busy month September has been.  The Faith Formation is running smoothly even with around 340 youth in the classes!  We are using every workable space to teach our young members.  There are 40 students preparing for Confirmation - maybe we will have to move to another location for the Confirmation itself?!!

The dance hosted by the Spanish Community was a big success, and I had a great time dancing and eating!

Our Feast Day was warm and sunny, and around 600 people eat and had a great time with commnunity building!  I feel blessed to be part of this Church Community.

October is once again looking like a busy month!  We have the blood drive for Kate Thornton on October 2 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m..  Walk-ins are welcome, so come out and support Kate.

There is also the Alpha Pregnancy Support, Inc. walk on October 10.

The Knights are hosting a Speghetti Dinner on October 12 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  Lots of good food!  Rather than cook for the family, bring them here for dinner and eat for free!!

A parish donor has offered to replace our present Stations of the Cross paintings with another style of Stations of the Cross.  The Pastoral Council will have the responsibility of choosing the style, so talk with them - either to keep what we have, or what you would like to see.

October is dedicated to Mary, so let us offer our prayers and praises for what we have and what we need to grow strong in our faith!

Hi Father Jim,
I enjoyed your blog this month. Just a short note to say have a good walk on the 12th. We'll see you at church.
